My Grown Up and Me

My Grown Up and Me is a summer camp program for our Nursery I students. This is a transition program that introduces our Nursery children to their new class, teachers and friends. Children will be encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities. A typical day will take place in our air conditioned Nursery classroom and will include puzzles, cooking, games, arts and crafts projects, dress up, building, story time and snack time. Children also have outside playtime on our playground.

Art and Science Camp

Our Arts and Science camp is designed for Nursery II children and older. Children will spend their days in small groups headed by camp counselors, all of whom are Mandell teachers. These small groups of children will move about the camp spending time in their classroom, with specialty art and science teachers, on the backyard playground, on the roof playground enjoying water play with sprinklers and a kiddy pool, and occasionally venturing out on special trips around the city.
