We regret to inform you that we are no longer accepting requests for applications for Toddler, Pre-Nursery, or Nursery programs for the 2009-2010 year.
Children must be 2 years old by September 1st, 2009 to apply.
All families interested in the Mandell School for Toddlers must call our Admissions Office on the first working day after Labor Day, beginning at 9:00 am in order to request an application. We know that this can be a frustrating process and ask that you be patient when trying to get through on that day. Please know that we are doing our best to speak directly with each one of you. Applications will not be available online.
NOTE: We do not honor voicemail requests for applications. You must speak directly with our Admissions Staff.
All applications will be e-mailed by September 12th, 2008. No pick-up's of applications will be allowed. A limited number of interview spots are available. RECEIPT OF AN APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN INTERVIEW SPOT. THOSE SPOTS ARE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. We encourage you to return your application to us as soon as possible via messenger, overnight delivery or standard mail service. Personal drop-offs will also be accepted.

Interviews, Tours and Open Houses
Once your application has been received and processed by our Admissions Office, you will receive a phone call from a member of our Admissions staff to schedule your tour and interview, which will take place between late October and January. You will receive two separate dates: one for a tour and one for your interview. Both parents are required to attend the tour and both parents and child are required to attend the interview.
Interview
For the interview, parents and child will meet together one on one with a member of the Mandell Staff for approximately half an hour. This is a time for families to ask questions and learn more about The Mandell School.
Parent Tour
Small group tours, guided by a current Mandell parent, are given Monday through Friday at 8:45 and 9:30 and last approximately 40 minutes.

Open Houses
As part of our Admissions process, we hold two Open Houses in January for all families that have had or will have an interview. These events take place in the evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and are a wonderful way to get to know the faculty, staff and parents of the Mandell School community.
Cancellations
Our policy is to reschedule interviews/tours only for child illness or injury. For other cancellations applicant will be placed on a waitlist until the end of the process, in the event that an interview spot/tour opens up. In addition, please note that we will not conduct an interview or tour if both parents are not present. This does not apply, of course, to single parents.
