The Mandell School is partnered with Scholarship America, a 501(c) (3) entity which manages a scholarship fund for the purpose of giving financial aid to eligible Mandell students. Scholarship America was founded over 50 years ago and is the nation's largest non-profit, private-sector scholarship and educational support organization.
Scholarship America offers tax-advantaged fundraising opportunities for donors. Those opportunities include the ability to accept tax-deductible contributions from individual donors, to accept foundation gifts, and to accept monies from companies that provide matching funds when an employee of that company makes a contribution.
The goal of the Mandell School Scholarship Fund is to provide Mandell's excellent education to all children admitted to the School, regardless of their financial status. In doing so, the Scholarship Fund aims to make the Mandell community one of the best-rounded, vibrant, and diverse educational communities in New York City. This partnership with Scholarship America enhances Mandell's commitment to providing scholarship funding through a designated endowment. With your contribution to our Scholarship Fund, we are able to increase funding in many other areas of the school.
For the coming academic year, 2013-2014, our goal is to increase our Faculty Professional Development Fund by the amount we raise towards the Scholarship Fund. Help us meet our goal by donating today!
