The Mandell School Toddler Division provides children from two to three and a half years of age with an educational environment that is designed to nurture their cognitive, physical and developmental needs. As such, Mandell's Toddler and Pre-Nursery programs offer an enjoyable and stimulating environment which functions as a gentle transition from home to school. At the beginning of the year, teachers work with children and parents to promote a smooth separation process. Throughout the year, we work on a one-to-one basis to guide parents through toilet training, limit-setting and other early childhood issues that may arise.
Our curriculum focuses on semi-monthly themes with related activities such as art projects, songs and special events. In addition, our Toddler Center includes an indoor gym space that the children use for gross motor play, structured movement and assessment. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, experiential environment for your child that enriches their emotional, physical and intellectual development.
