Noelia Brito joined The Mandell School in 2016. Originally from the Canary Islands of Spain, Noelia studied Early Childhood Education and earned her Master’s Degree from Long Island University, Brooklyn and her Bachelor’s degree from Universidad de La Laguna in Tenerife, Spain. She has worked for the Spanish Consulate of New York as a head Spanish teacher in Manhattan, and runs the Children’s Academy at the Long Island University summer camp. She enjoys spending time with her dog Jack, exercising in Central Park, and learning about natural medicine.
Kwon joined The Mandell Preschool in 2016. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in
Early Childhood Education and Special Education, concentrating in Psychology
from New York University. This is Yuna's third year working with
Pre-Kindergarten children in New York City. In the classroom, Yuna encourages
the class to build a strong community by providing a collaborative learning environment.
Yuna also strives to make an environment full with artistic values through
hands-on activities, dancing, and singing as she is professionally trained for
classical opera with various performances.
Lucy Mosqueda joined the Mandell School in 2008. She began her career as a Receptionist for the ongoing school in its first year, and in the fall of 2009 took on a permanent position in the Admissions Department. In 2013, Lucy transitioned into her present role as Enrollment Manager. Originally from Northern California, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and taking road trips. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
Bree joined The Mandell School in 2005. She holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from The University of Vermont and a Master's of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Teaching/Elementary Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University. Originally from the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Bree enjoys spending time in her beautiful hometown, traveling up and down the East Coast, running, and exploring New York City.
Penny Schnee-Bosch joyfully rejoins Mandell in 2016. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching for over two decades. Penny is also a children’s book author of Mommy Always Comes Back and Someday… She created URSpecialTree.com, a web-based game that promotes kindness and boosts self-esteem. She loves traveling, the outdoors and the arts. Teaching fills Penny’s heart, bringing out the very best in her.
Helena Spadacene joined The Mandell School in 2014. Prior to joining Mandell, Helena worked as a Site Director for Wingspan Arts: a non-profit organization that provides arts focused after-school care throughout the New York boroughs. She received her Bachelor's in Theatre from the University of Mary Washington, in her home state of Virginia. Helena is a supporter of all the arts and loves seeing it expressed across the world by traveling.
